membership to accomodate your family's location & spiritual needs
Tikvat Yisrael now offers three different kinds of membership based on your location and spiritual needs. Traditional In-Person Community Membership, Online Community Membership & Associate Membership. A Beginner's Class on Messianic Judaism is required for all memberships, register for that class on the membership class page or click here.

membership steps: how to become a member?
First, it is always good to attend a service either online or in person, and complete a visitor/guest card and talk to us to introduce yourself. You can email us at: tikvatyisrael@sbcglobal.net. We will schedule a phone call or a meeting with you to discuss your interest in membership. Next, you should get registered for the Beginner's Class on Messianic Judaism click here. The next step is to fill out a membership application to do that, choose one of the memberships above and download the form, and either email the completed form to us or print it and bring it in at your next visit. You can also mail it to our office, the address is at the bottom of this page.
After you complete the class and the required books to read, the rabbis or an elder will interview you to answer any remaining questions you may have. If you feel ready to join, we will officially welcome you to the congregation by issuing you a membership certificate with a short induction ceremony during a service with a group of new members. We can do this both for in-person and online members. After receiving your new membership certificate you will be eligible to serve in various positions of service and potential leadership. However, if you are interested in serving in ministry to minors, you will have an additional six month wait period and will need to complete a separate training class on ministry with children entitled "Reducing the Risk," and be subject to a successful comprehensive criminal Background Check.
