Tikvat Yisrael Messianic Synagogue is incorporated in the State of Ohio as a non-profit place of worship. Tikvat's Articles of Incorporation are available click here The IRS Internal Revenue Code section 508(c) sets out that churches (places of worship) are automatically recognized as tax-exempt under 501(c)(3), and the IRS does not require them to apply for tax-exempt status if they meet certain criteria; see rules "Exemption Requirements". Tikvat Yisrael complies with these rules and maintains it's own Employer Tax ID number with the IRS. All donations to our ministry are TAX DEDUCTIBLE. Additionally, as pursuant to IRS rules, Tikvat Yisrael sends out receipts for all donations above $250 annually. Receipts for less than $250 will be issued by donor request.
